Can I borrow up to my credit limit without providing collateral?

No. Having an agreed credit limit does not mean funds are automatically available to that limit; to borrow to your credit limit you must also provide enough collateral.

The credit limit is the maximum amount of money that we are willing to lend you. When you apply for a margin loan you will request a particular credit limit; as part of the process of opening your margin loan account the credit limit will be set.

Once your margin loan account has been opened, you can apply to change the credit limit online by logging in and navigating to Portfolio > Accounts > *select Margin Loan* > Loan Details > Change Credit Limit.
